Food was rather unremarkable, but the staff was attentive and accommodating. The dining experience was made for tourists and the staff’s ability to switch between Italian, German, English, and Spanish was telling of that.

What can I say To start, we got the food more than an hour after we ordered because the only cook had to go find out if his house was flooded. The food really is very expensive (30 euro per person, without wine), and I'm being nice when I say the quality is about as good as a single person heating up frozen food from the supermarket. Without a doubt the best restaurant in Cortina d'Ampezzo during the off-season (we discover that the tourism season officially starts on July 1st in the Dolomites and that in June, most restaurants are still closed in the area, which makes good ones tricky to find!).
