If I could give zero stars I would. We found a vacant table inside and ordered 5 hot chocolates. Shortly after receiving the hot chocolates we were told to leave as they need the table for lunch service. They were rude about it and clearly did not care about offending anyone. They need a better system and perhaps when they decide to take your money for a drink they should let you know that you need to take the drinks outside as the inside is being set up for lunch service. It got worse when we stood outside trying to juggle all of our ski hats/googles etc and the only vacant tables outside we also set up for lunch service. We quickly finished our drinks and put them on the table to then be told by the male staff member to move our empty cups off the table. He then proceeded over to another two elderly people who had dared to sit down at a table to eat and drink their paid for biscuits and hot drinks and he told them to move and he then took their tray off the table. Read moreThe service was so poor. We were served our drinks then immediately told to leave, before we could even drink the drinks we paid for, so that they could accomodate more customers for lunch. They quite literally took the plates and cups out from underneath the elderly couple next to us who had also only just received their order. Terribly rude staff who then told us we couldn’t even leave our cups on the table upon leaving the restaurant.
I could completely understand if the tables were reserved, but they were actively seating walk ins and there were no reserved signs in the tables, and in any event the staff were unnecessarily...
Read moreThere's not much to say... it's an enchanting place. Located on the ski slopes, at the arrival of the Roncato chairlift, the Socrepes refuge is situated at the foot of the Tofana. You can reach it via the aforementioned chairlift and in summer also by car. During the summer, the refuge is surrounded by a beautiful meadow filled with games for our children.
