Stumbled across this restaurant that had amazing reviews. The food was an experience, delicately prepared pairing of flavors to make each dish unique and honestly, perfect.
The food is absolutely worth it.
Sadly the service didn’t match the food. Upon walking in, my partner and I did not feel welcomed( we are here on holiday.)
They sat us, waited quite a bit of time to order, and again food was perfection. When the bill came, we were asked if we wanted to tip, even though they had asked no one else if they wanted to tip. It felt as if we were being taken advantage of for being foreigners. We tipped anyway because it was awkward to say no, and then faces were made from the staff as we walked out of the restaurant.
Again food amazing, atmosphere amazing, the service was disappointing because it was very clear they weren’t a fan of us being foreigners .

Read moreToo bad we could not try the food or drinks after our 3-hour hike through the snowy woods but one has to mention the rude way in which we were not allowed to lunch or sit. The waitress told us they were full although couple of tables were still empty, it’s fine if you’re booked out but telling us not to come in for a drink “as they were not a bar” or even telling us also not to come tomorrow for either lunch or dinner made us feel as if they had something against tourists and we wouldn’t be welcome there at any time.
