Ristorante Mimmi - Mimmi B&B — Restaurant in Cortona

Lovely little trattoria in the small town of Mercatale. We chose the all inclusive menu, which was absolutely fantastic. Classic Italian menu (antipasti, primo, secundi, dolci). The primo (different kinds of homemade pasta) was definitely the best.

The food was served quiet fast, but it was probably because we where the only guests on a Wednesday evening. The staff was a bit modest, but very friendly. They even caught a bat, which flew into the restaurant!

Highly recommended if you like classic and tasty...

Nice interior and people. There is no menu, but you do get a choice of what they have that day. We had classic melon and ham, a pasta dish with white zucchini Sauce and lasagne/cannelloni. It ended with tiramisu and caramel panna Cota. Total experience was good. It felt more like coming home to someone where the food is generally good, but not fancy or revolutionary.
