Chalet del Miage — Restaurant in Courmayeur

Lovely place right under the Montblanc. If you get lucky and there will not be clouds, you will see this gorgeous mountain. Food is tasty, owners are nice and friendly. You can park a car there (sometimes it's hard to get to the Val Veny, but if you say you heading to this restaurant you can pass). It's a bit pricy, but nobody would expect cheap place under the mountains on the border with...

Peggio di così non si può. Ho scelto tra le varie torte una porzione al cioccolato con castagne e panna. Il titolare mi risposto che era finita poi invece mi ha riferito di avere un ultima fetta ed è arrivato con una porzione di torta al cioccolato ricoperta da una montagna di cacao e tanta panna. Mentre la mangiavo speravo di trovare le castegne ma di queste neppure l'ombra.... era solo cioccolata su una base tipo crostata. Ho fatto presente che non era la torta richiesta e che di castagne neanche l'ombra. Il titolare anziché scusarsi ha continuato a ribadire,con tono alto e scontroso, che non era vero e che le castagne c'erano. Persino una coppia che aveva assistito alla scena e visto da vicino la metà della torta che non ho mangiato perché diversa da quella richiesta, ha capito che il titolare aveva rifilato una torta al cioccolato SENZA castagne. Non si trattano così i clienti e i turisti come se a questi si possa rifilare qualsiasi cosa, tanto arrivano e ripartono. La furbizia non premia anzi va sottolineata e stigmatizzata per evitare il ripetersi di episodi simili. Mai ricevuto un trattamento simile e neanche le scuse per un eventuale errore in cucina....

We appeared at the restaurant at lunch time and there was literally nobody noticing us for 15 minutes although we tried to speak with management to get a table. I guess they do this because they are the only restaurant around in this area. This is unacceptable. Anyway we sat and waited for another 15 minutes and never received a menu. UN POSTO DI MERDA...
