When visiting Crotone I absolutely love coming here for dinner or lunch. I’ve never stopped to review the hotel until today. I needed a break and am staying here for a couple of days. The room is impeccably clean. Very euro in that it is still small relative to what we’re used to in most US upscale hotels. The service is very attentive. Today, Sunday, I am having lunch as I’m craving the spaghetti alle vongole. Ordered that and a glass of wine. As always the spaghetti are cooked perfectly and the white wine sauce is just enough to keep things moist and tasting delicious. Topped this off with a glass of house white which paired perfectly as well. The staff is always around to make sure you have everything you need. I’ve already booked dinner for my family here this week. I highly recommend the hotel and restaurant Before or after, take a walk around the place. It’s a living art gallery. There is art in every corner of the hotel and restaurant. Floors and ceiling along the walls as well. The private beach is pristine and if you stay here worth spending quiet time there. We stumbled upon this property after being late to book a hotel in Calabria during August 15 holiday period (ferragosto). And I have to say we were very lucky because not only was the hotel on an amazing property, it was also recently renovated, the rooms were fresh and super clean, the bathrooms had this amazing lighting feature. ||The property itself had its private beach where you would barely see anyone around which was such a nice change after the crowded calabria beaches. the service was amazing, and i have to mention the restaurant was really beautiful and romantic. ||Last but not least, there was a permanent exhibition of a local artist with funky stuff on display all around...which made it fun to walk around the hotel and find interesting art around. The staff was beyond helpful and nice, even printed our boarding pass at midnight so that we wouldnt have to rush in the morning.
