On our way to France, we chose to stay overnight at this lovely little hotel in Cucciago in Italy. It is a smaller town where life is not busy. The place was chosen by chance, as it was not far from the motorway, but surprised us more than positively. The place is family-run by the sweetest and most service-minded people. We had overlooked that check-in was late, but when we got there they did everything they could to make sure our room was ready within a short time. Unfortunately, we had not booked a table in the restaurant in advance, so we had to find a place in town. The restaurant on site is the only one in the area, so the nearest one is not within walking distance. When booking the room, it should have been stated that a table reservation is necessary. Dinner: great quality food, super cute authentic place, nice hosts, great selection of wines and good price / quality. The place was quite crowded, seems very popular! We even got 10% off our bill for staying overnight :) Night stay: very comfortable room, has everything you need for a night, quite modern and nice. Considering the quality of food they serve for dinner, we expected nice local quality products...

As starter, we shared some antipasti ("selezione di salumi") and the "morbido di patate", and for mains we had the Ravioli and truffle pasta. Hands down one of the best food we had on our Italy trip. Also the service was very good and accommodating.
The room we stayed in was also very nice, clean, and spacious. We would definitely come a...
