My stay at Locanda dell’Oreste was absolutely fantastic! The hotel combines an incredible atmosphere of comfort and style. Every corner is thoughtfully designed, making the experience both relaxing and cozy.

But the real highlight was the food! Every meal felt like a small gastronomic celebration. The freshness of the ingredients and the craftsmanship of each dish, from appetizers to desserts, were simply outstanding.

As a restaurant I recommend this place, very good meals, pleasant staff, and good price. As an accomodation I had problems with the noises of the road, that is going down under the window of the rooms, therefore you clearly hear it, which can be distrubing at night. Despite of this I slept well with ear plugs. Dizzasco has very narrow streets and few place for cars, therefore it is not easy to park with the car, however the hotel has own parking place, which always has a place for your car. Abbiamo cenato alla Locanda dell’Oreste in due, attratti dalla proposta di cucina tipica della zona laghée e dalla reputazione del locale. L’atmosfera richiama l’osteria tradizionale, con un ambiente caldo e accogliente che valorizza la cucina del territorio.

Abbiamo iniziato con due paté di foie gras fatto in casa, davvero eccellente per equilibrio e sapore, seguiti da un antipasto misto di lago, ben presentato e ricco di sapori autentici. Di secondo, ho scelto una battuta di fassona con salsina all’aglio nero, ben eseguita e gustosa. La mia compagna ha ordinato quattro asparagi di Cantello con una buona salsa olandese e due uova pochè. Purtroppo, uno dei due presentava l’albume completamente crudo – una preparazione potenzialmente rischiosa, motivo per cui non è stato consumato. Abbiamo segnalato il problema alla responsabile di sala, che si è mostrata attenta e disponibile all’ascolto.

Il servizio nel complesso è stato buono, attento ma mai invadente. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo risulta equilibrato, in linea con le proposte e l’ambiente.
