Osteria located in Pianezzo - a borgata di Dogliani run by two brothers - one in the kitchen and the other on the floor. Setting is both outdoor and inside. We like the food - focaccia a farina di carbone - best one, and always fresh and warm such is their bread - very hard to beat its quality. Antipasti - on the main remain the same as do I primi, served at the table from the pan. Wide selection of secondi - that come always with nice side dishes - contorni, a good serve of vegetables, which rarely happens at the restaurants in Langhe. Good selection of wines combined with a relaxed approach by the waiter - most of the time one of the 2 brothers, makes this place a good option for a lunch or dinner out. Bring an appetite for Sunday lunch! The food was delicious, had a great homely feel, and was cooked with care. My favourites, without listing every dish, were: cheese with parsely oil, gnocchi, and the panna cotta! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you’re in the area and looking for a wonderful meal and a true Italian dining experience, this is the place.
