Ristorante Pizzeria Bacco — Restaurant in Drapia

We had excellent fungi and nduja pasta for starters and amazing fried calamari plus shrimp and tagliata. I would advise making reservations, because the staff had to turn away people that were looking to eat there. The pizza chef bakes pizzas in full force, turning them out every 1,5 to 2 minutes from the authentic wood burning oven, amazing to see. It was a busy night, with a kids birthday party going on so lots of chatting at a regular Italian volume :) made reservations for the next day to celebrate our last day visiting Italy. If you're going there by (rental) car, I would advise taking the longer route. I followed the suggested shorter route my navigation offered, but that was quite a nerve-racking experience in complete darkness going up and down backroads with little to absolutely no lights... If you do, go slow and use your highbeam lights (but be mindful of oncoming traffic...

Molto deluso. Siamo stati consigliati dell'host dove abbiamo alloggiato per le nostre vacanze, il quale poi è rimasto alquanto meravigliato quando gli abbiamo raccontato la non piacevole esperienza trascorsa al ristorante Bacco. Su consiglio abbiamo prenotato ed infatti appena arrivati non abbiamo dovuto attendere per sederci. Abbiamo mangiato principalmente a base di pesce, anche se come antipasto abbiamo voluto optare per un antipasto locale basato principalmente su affettati e formaggi locali e qualche tocco di vegetariano (zucchine alla griglia, ceci in umido, fagioli in umido, verdura). Beh piatto appena sufficiente per quel che concerne il gusto. A mia figlia di 3 anni abbiamo scelto un piatto di pasta fatta in casa con il pomodoro... avendolo anche noi assaggiato perché il piatto era abbondante Mia figlia non ha terminato tutto abbiamo notato che la pasta era scotta ed il sugo poco saporito. Noi invece abbiamo ordinato uno spaghetto alle vongole con pesto di basilico che praticamente era privo di sale e le vongole non avevano assolutissimamente sapore. Devo dire la verità lo staff si è mostrato molto gentile nel volermi sostituire il piatto anzi successivamente me l'hanno tolto dal conto, giustificandosi che alle volte può capitare soprattutto in un periodo come quello di agosto dove vengono presi d'assalto. Secondo piatto tonno scottato in agrodolce con cipolla caramellata...anche questo piatto dal gusto sufficiente. Sugli impiattamenti - laddove anche l'occhio vuole la sua parte - c'è un pò da lavorare. Staff molto cordiale, ma anche in questo caso, attesa l'eccessiva presenza di commensali, poco sufficiente alle esigenze di tutti. Cucina troppo lenta...ma troppo...c'è da dire che tra un piatto e l'altro sono...

From outside we were wondering if there is really a restaurant - and yes, there is. Unfortunately there is no pizza for lunch as usual so we had pasta and mixed fries and salad. Everything was good.
