Fischerstube — Restaurant in Eisacktal - Valle Isarco

Found this little gem through Google, hidden down a little track off the side of main road to Vahrna. Fantastic setting right by the fish lake, tables on the terrace overhanging the lake. Friendly family run, great food and service. Portions seem small when first arrive but are perfect and leaves you feeling full and satisfied but not stuffed. Coffee was great and smooth. Fish freshly caught and you can taste that. Good value, large car park - worth a trip off the autostrada for lunch or for a special occasion....

Bonjour a tous, nous sommes tombé sur ce restaurant un peut par hasard. Nous étions sur la route de notre voyage et la faim se faisant sentir j'ai cherché un restaurant sur notre route pas très loin et nous avons tenté ce restaurant. La route est bien indiqué. Loin des villes et villages ce restaurant est un peut isolé dans un petit chemin à suivre au bord de l'eau. Nous arrivons et nous installons dans ce petit coin vraiment tranquil, pas trop de client, c'était calme et agréable. Installer sur la terrasse près de l'eau, nous avions commandé ces escalopes absolument succulente. Se découpe quasiment sans couteau de part sa viande tendre, les épices sur la viande ainsi que sur les frites était absolument succulente et très bien placé. La petite sauce était une confiture de groseille elle aussi très bien a sa place finalement, même pour quelqu'un n'étant pas fan de sucré/ salée. Sur la photo on pourrai croire que la portion était maigre mais pas du tout, la viande remplissait parfaitement l'assiette et la portion de frite était généreuse aussi. On a presque eu du mal à finir notre assiette a la fin. Les prix sont très honnête. Je recommande vraiment ce restaurant...

This place offers no value for money. The lake has no fish and they do have the courage to tell you this only after you have paid. And when you go back to complain, they attack you by saying that you cannot expect going to a fish store by paying 19€. Unfriendly staff, they treat you as if you are bothering them. There are far better places!...
