La Stua SNC — Restaurant in Erbezzo

Been here with extended family. The place is quite popular in the area and they recently opened an “aperitivo” place just by the road which is quite a nice a spot to stop for a drink. The view from the restaurant terrace is spectacular so only good things to say about it. People from nearby Verona use to come up here in very hot summer days in town so the place, especially during weekend can be crowded and booking is recommended. Food was very good here, but among the first courses we found the Canederli possibly not being too good. The Gnocchi di malga instead were super good, as well as the Spatzlen (gnocchetti verdi). Also the few meat seconds that we tried were good. Portions are good size. If I have to point out something on service, I have to say that it was a bit slow. The highlight of the place is the views - absolutely stunning, like a postcard. The interior of the restaurant is charming and cozy. They have a nice menu with different specialities from the region (Veneto and Trentino). The service was rather inatttentive, i must say. I had to chase someone to order a glass of wine. My tris of canerdeli was good. My son's pasta (ragu d/anatra) tasty but a very small portion (even for an 8 year old boy!). He ended up eating half of my dish because he was still hungry. My husband's dish, polenta with mushrooms was fine, nothing special, and maybe a couple of euros too expensive...

Ci siamo stati a pranzo ieri, domenica 20 agosto, in tre. Ambiente organizzato molto bene, in mezzo al verde con terrazze verso valle che rendono un bel senso di pace. Eravamo nella terrazza ad un tavolo spazioso imbandito con tovagliati di stoffa ed il personale ci ha subito consegnato il menù. Le attese sono state limitate ed in pochissimo tempo abbiamo ordinato e siamo stati serviti. Devo dire che ho visto al lavoro un notevole numero di personale di sala il che fa presumere una cucina organizzatissima. Abbiamo preso un tagliere medio di affettati e formaggi apprezzando bene anche le due marmellate da gustare con i formaggi. Molto buoni anche gli affettati in particolare la pancetta coppata. Poi tutti e tre abbiamo proseguito con gli gnocchi di malga (molto buoni) ed abbiamo finito con due dolci e tre caffè gustando alla fine l'amaro di loro produzione. Insieme a due bottiglie d'acqua ed una birra piccola il costo totale è stato di 76,50; veramente un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Buoni anche i vari tipi di pane di loro produzione (sul tipo tirolese). Complimenti anche per i servizi igienici. Un piccolo appunto: per me andavano benissimo gli gnocchi servitici ma il termine "di malga" è leggermente improprio in quanto non erano solo di farina ma contenevano una certa percentuale di patate. Questo li rende di sicuro più digeribili ed il condimento era a dir poco strepitoso rendendo inutile il grana...
