Ristorante Albergo Farese — Restaurant in Fara Novarese

We happened on this place at lunch time and took a chance because it looked ok. For 11euros we got a pasta or risotto and a second course. My wife had a good spaghetti pomadoro and I had an interesting risotto with radicchio. The risotto was well made, but the radicchio proved too bitter for me to have so much of it. Never had the dish before, so I cannot blame the restaurant. We then vitello tomato that was what it is supposed to be. It was served with a very nice braised fennel--really the hit of the meal. Delusione.Sono tornata in questo ristorante perché ho sempre mangiato bene con un ottimo rapporto qualità, quantità e prezzo. Ieri con la mia famiglia ho scelto il menù "festa della donna "e sono rimasta delusa. L'antipasto che era degustazione antipasto piemontese era formato da tre antipasti caldi della dimensione di tre pasticcini mignon ( uno era un mini cannolo con crema cacio e pepe ,che di piemontese non aveva nulla ) e una fettina di vitello tonnato. Poi il primo un raviolone tipo sacchetto con una cremina,e due fettine di scamone con le patate. Al che ci è stato chiesto se volevamo altro,ma cosa chiedere? Menù alla carta o bis di qualcosa,non si sa... Infine tre porzioncine di dolce. Ho messo tre stelle perché il cibo era comunque buono e i camerieri gentili, ma il ristorante che mi ricordavo io ,anche col menù fisso con portate abbondanti e offerte di bis non c'era. Mi...
