My friends and I had the BEST meal and experience at La Frasca. First, the staff is incredible. It is family owned and you can feel the passion and love as soon as you walk in the door. There is both indoor and outdoor seating with the most beautiful and fun decorations. You very much feel that you are getting an authentic northern Italian experience! I tried bigoli and pasticcio di patate as well as a bean dish and vegetable sides. Each dish was delicately prepared and cooked to perfection. Honestly, it was the best meal I had while traveling in Italy. The best part of the dinner was definitely the kindness and care that the staff and owners showed to us. They went above and beyond to accommodate different dietary needs of our group and they were happy to explain the menu to us. We enjoy going to this restaurant every time we go! It's really a hidden gem. The food is fresh, excellent and beautifully presented. They are very generous with the portions and we never leave hungry! Most of the time we have leftovers to take with us. Even the side dishes are excellent. There are times I think I just want to order the sides and be done with it, but their meals are way too good to miss. Itala and Eugenio are always a joy to deal with and are a big part of why we return. Very helpful, kind and informative. It's obvious they love their work! Set in the gorgeous rolling hills of northern Venezia, just past Bassano, this cute restaurant is definitely worth a visit! Owned by a local family with its ingredients personally sourced from different parts of the region, the plates are not only authentically Italian but also delicious.
