We arrived before check-in and our room was already ready, and they were kind enough to give us the room earlier.|We stayed in suite 2, which was wonderful, everything felt new modern and fresh. |We had a huge terrace overlooking the olive groves, where we sat and enjoyed the evening and drank the local wine we received as a gift.|The pool was cool, which was very nice when the hot air and the sun's warm rays shone on us. The atmosphere was lovely, the rolling Tuscany landscape around us was eye candy and balm for the soul.||All the staff were very nice and very service minded.|Service at the pool was exceptional, the staff were very attentive l. A special shout out to Allessandro, Marco and Gabrielle.||The chef definitely knew how to use a pot on the stove. The food was excellent. Read moreWe stayed 3 nights with half board in one of the lovely 2 room suites. The meals were fabulous and the chef was very accommodating of my need to avoid dairy. We did not make use of the spa, but each day we walked through the vineyards & olive groves on the trails they have set out, which is a very nice touch. It is beautiful to watch the sunset across the vineyards! There are 2 little towns nearby which are worth a visit, as well as the towns along the shore of Lake Bolsena (great for a fish lunch or dinner out). We enjoyed easy daytrips to the tufa towns (Pitigliano, Sovava, Sorano) and nearby Etruscan sites which we highly recommend. The Marfisa wines are very good - they graciously gave us a bottle upon check-in too.
