Baia del Faro — Restaurant in Favignana

We went there for a drink yesterday and it was great music and chill. Today we returned and it was terrible! We ordered 2 beers and the waited waived the terminal with €100on it to pay. Luckily my partner had a look at the price and the waiter wanted to charge him for somebody else’s lunch! So we told him its not ours to pay for and he corrected it. So we ordered those beers and they never came ! … we have finally called him and told him we never got those beers and the guy ( blonde highlights , pony tail) starts giving us a BIG lecture !!! with a seriously broken English , that we didn’t get the beers coz we ordered them wrong. We should have said it different way coz he thought we already got them . Thats the same guy that wanted to charge us for sb else’s lunch ! Later on we approached him and told him that his lecture on how to order beer was quite rude considering he was a mess … we got no apologies but he was interrupting us and said that we are probably tired and we should go away…unbelievable. The place is greatly located and other waiters seems nice but this fella should seriously be let go. He is just to rude to work in...

We went to Cala Grande/Punta Sottile to have a great view of the sunset. When done we got inside this lovely and welcoming place to ask what kind of options we had to go back to the city centre. The staff was absolutely magic. One of the guys order us a taxi which was available outside just after 15 mins. We were told that we were welcome to stay and sit down until the taxi arrived and that we didn’t need to order anything if we didn’t want to. Very nice people and very smiley too. Eventually we had a glass of Prosecco and a mix panelle/French fries which we got the chance to take away as the taxi arrives before we could finish the food. Highly...

Decidiamo di cenare in questo locale per visitare una parte dell'isola che ancora non avevamo visto e per godere di un bel tramonto. Prenotiamo così un tavolo per 2 per cena vista tramonto, ore 19:30. Al telefono e all'accoglienza personale gentile. Arrivati, ci fanno accomodare a un tavolo nella parte coperta del locale, senza vista tramonto nonostante tanti tavoli per 2 vuoti nella parte più esterna. E vabèh... pensiamo che forse quella coperta è la parte del locale destinata alla cena (scopriamo dopo che non è così perché altri vengono fatti accomodare "fuori"). Servizio confusionario. Musica da aperitivo dozzinale e molto alta che prosegue anche oltre le 20:30 e per nulla adeguata alla situazione. Pescato del giorno non all'altezza (pesce d'allevamento). Alla fine ordiniamo: 2 fritti (5 anelli di calamaro e 5 gamberetti per piatto stra cotti, erano infatti quasi marroncini e non dorati) 40€ 2 fettine di tonno arrostito (surgelato) 1 insalata 2 calici di vino bianco 1 bottiglia d'acqua Per un totale di 116 euro. Prezzo fuori dal mondo!!!! È una settimana che siamo a Favignana e mai abbiamo speso più di 100€ per cena e gli altri ristoranti provati superano di gran lunga la qualità che propone Baia del Faro. Il locale è carino e la location molto suggestiva ma il personale e il cibo sono davvero davvero molto scadenti. Potenzialità infinite ma...
