Amazing place.

The truffle tagliattere and the raviolis alla erbbe were amazing. We ate the guts and goat as second platti, it was wonderful too. The sauce of both dishes was a miracle. A bid too bad that the goat did not cam with a side (normally some tagliattere but since we had some as primer platti it was Ok) but they could have put something else on the side. The guts could have been a tiny bit tenderer but all this is to go from very very good to excellent so it's really ok. Finally we had a local natural wine advised by the staff, made less than a mile away. It paired wonderfully with the meal. On top of that the view during lunch was litterally breathtaking. We were the ONLY customers that day (14th of July 2017) and it was probably my best experience of Tuscany. We paid the price of an average restaurant in France (we'd probably ended up paying twice as much for this quality). A special note to the owner that is a really nice and polite man. We followed the meal by a long walk in the landscapes around before driving back to the city....

Absolutely beautiful restaurant with just as beautiful food. You can tell the people who work here hold quality in very high regard and this is seen throughout - all the ingredients are very good, the restaurant itself is spotless, everything exudes good taste... We ended up here by 'accident' but are very happy we did! Disappointing experience as I cam with my wife for a special evening. But as table rare and locals preferred / only - No choice but inside in a dark side room. Make reservation necessary even if early. No chance. It’s a pity as view is indeed good - see picture. Food can not tell. Service ok as they have made it clear that there is no option for us but to leave and maybe come back in 2 weeks. Hope! Maybe next time have more chance if come not in Summer or make reservation many weeks in advance and no locals in between preferred seating....
