Dinner for two couples and we made reservations. Our dining experience was absolutely fabulous! The food was so tasty and elegant yet simple. The wine selections were excellent and delicious. This was one of the standout dining experiences of our two weeks in Italy! It was very close to where we were staying, but also off of the beaten track. It was fantastic and sublime! Highly recommend!!

Un casale in pietra finemente ristrutturato, dove ogni dettaglio d'arredo richiama il fascino di antichi mestieri e suggestioni del passato. Una terrazza panoramica spettacolare, che sembra fondersi armoniosamente con il dolce profilo delle colline umbre, creando un'atmosfera di assoluto relax. Per chi visita questi luoghi per la prima volta, è l’indirizzo ideale per scoprire le eccellenze enogastronomiche dell’Umbria. Per chi, invece, ha radici in questa terra, è un rifugio senza tempo, capace di far riaffiorare ricordi, profumi e sapori autentici, in una connessione profonda con le proprie origini. L’ambiente è esclusivo ma accogliente, il menù equilibrato e mai ridondante, con ingredienti selezionati e materie prime di altissima qualità. La cucina è impeccabile, la presentazione dei piatti originale e curata nei minimi dettagli. Servizio rapido, cortese e sempre attento. Prezzi assolutamente adeguati all’esperienza offerta. Cinque stelle meritatissime (e solo perché non se ne possono dare di più!). Prenotazione consigliata.

conosco Fabio dal maggio 2020, quando realizzò i lampadari per la nostra casa e mi fece visitare i locali del futuro ristorante non ancora ultimato. Sono riuscito a tornare a pranzo lo scorso inverno, che dire, le foto del posto parlano da sole, le pietanze idem. Ambiente rustico, piatti davvero “come una volta” porzioni finalmente medio-abbondanti (siamo in Umbria, le cucine gourmet lasciamole a coloro che sono solo imprenditori, non certo cuochi o gestori appassionati) ai fornelli la moglie Pina una garanzia, materie prime di qualità e scelta dei piatti del territorio compresi alcuni ficullesi. Altra nota di merito, mai incontrata in moltissimi ristoranti frequentati: cura del dettaglio e attenzione per i bambini. Le bavagline di stoffa come vedete in foto sono un tocco di eccellenza. We have included La Bettola del Cocciaro on our list of Unique Places we recommend to our Guests at our Casale. We knew the Owners before they opened their restaurant, when they were making their typical Ficulle pottery reknown in this area of Umbria. Last week we tried their menu and were very pleased. I had an absolutely amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish was prepared with such care and attention to detail.
