This is an amazing place! a little off the beaten path for GPS so make sure you print a map of road from figurine valdarno to get here. Beautiful location. Sheltered free parking area. beautiful grounds. Rooms are very clean. Large bathrooms with sink, shower, bidet and toilet and shelving for toiletries. Large armoire closet and desk in room. Very comfortable bed. Amazing breakfast buffet each morning including cheese, meat, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, breads, juice, tea and coffee. The dinners each night were absolutely delicious from the appetizer, antipasti, to main course and dessert. Every night there were at least 3 main course offerings which were so tasty and well prepared. Service is so friendly and accommodating. would come back here in a heartbeat! We had booked this Agriturismo hotel south of Florence for just one night en-route to Umbria and thought it would probably be ok. It was far far better than we could have expected for the reasonable price of £82 for the night. The place is utterly charming, our room was spotless and delightful in that low-key tiled floor, ceiling beams, white wall way that the Italian's do so well, with a comfy bed and a view out over the wondrous Tuscan countryside. Even better, there is a gorgeous swimming pool (take your own towels) and gardens to just sit in under olive trees and read. Breakfast was generous with local cold meats, cheeses etc.||||But its the restaurant that excels. Book before you arrive, eat either inside or under umbrella's in the lovely courtyard. The food is seasonal, local and superbly cooked. It was the best dinner in three weeks in Italy! Particularly fabulous was the wild boar. We were greedy and shared the antipasti first course, then had a pasta each, then the boar and steak. Oh fabulous!||||Just go, but stay longer...
