I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible kindness and generosity I received at Bar Chalet Raticosa. I found myself in a difficult situation when my car couldn’t go any further up the mountain, and without hesitation, the amazing people there stepped in to help.

Not only did they assist me with my car, but they also found a comfortable and safe place for my small family to stay overnight. They even escorted us to the accommodation in a different car, ensuring we arrived safely. The warmth and generosity of the staff and the wonderful local couples who helped me were beyond anything I could have expected.

It is rare to come across such genuine hospitality and selflessness, and I will always remember this experience. If you ever visit this area, know that Bar Chalet Raticosa is not just a place to stop for food or rest—it is a place filled with truly kind-hearted people who go above and beyond to help others.

You don't go here for the food, or the service, or anything like that... you go here because of the road you take to get here and the people who come here. It's basically a coven for motorcycle riders and almost everyone who stops here rode a motorcycle. Menu is short, but food is well prepared, tasty and properly greasy. Service is kind but they are overrun by people and it can be a bit slow. Prices are not the cheapest but...

Posto bellissimo,, peccato che la prima volta che vengo ..e penso l'ultima ,, dopo l'umiliazione passata domenica 15/09/2024, In poche parole ..arrivo insieme con dei amici ,, ci sediamo ,,, ordiniamo , dopo un po' arriva l'ordine, tutto bene . la cameriera ,signora bionda sui 55 anni occhiali , dici il totale del conto 63 euro visto che non avevo contanti, per dividere insieme hai miei amici, decido di pagare tutto io con la carta , prova a fare la transazione con il contacless, e mi dici rifiutato pagamento, mi sembra strano, poi avevo usata la carta 20 minuti prima , pero va bè riprovo, e ancora negata, poi penso di provare ad inserire la carta bel pos, ma prima di aprire boca la cameriera gia stuffa della situazione(passato circa 1 minuto di orologio) urla in voce altissima davanti a tutti i tavoli, "ALLORA NON HAI SOLDI?!!!MI DEVI PAGARE !!!!DAI CHE HO DA FARE !!! Mi guardo in torno tutti quanti compresi i tavoli d'intorno basito dell' comportamento sgradevoli e non inopportuno data la situazione,, ovviamente divento nervoso e sto zitto ,,, ma come vi permettete di dire una cosa del genere ad un cliente,, ?!? Vi sembra normale ? Poi dico io ..la educazione? Persa sui tornanti mentre vieni su ? Capisco che potete essere stressati per il lavoro ,, capisco perfettamente,, ma non potete...
