The lady at reception was pleasant and welcoming when we arrived. The restaurant was indeed very good even if the panna cotta was disappointing, to me -- because I found it too sweet and did not taste like cream -- and the potatoes with peppers were more like thick potato chips sprinkled with pepper so they were disappointing to my husband (I enjoyed them). The steak though was the most tender we ever ate and we loved it. I also enjoyed the gnocchi. ||||We had difficulty finding the B&B on our GPS so we sent a message on WhatsApp and they told us to enter the city of Ciampino instead of Fregene. This is important to anyone who is driving there. They were very timely in their response, including when I asked for an extra blanket -- the region was hit with extremely cold weather -- but that did not seem to help and we did not sleep well. ||||The restaurant service was excellent! Professional and helpful. Realistically, the B&B does not really seem to have any services. We had coffee and something to eat, for breakfast, in a nearby cafe. BEWARE! WE LEFT AS SOON AS WE SAW THE PLACE, didn’t spend the night. We arrived at this Airbnb thinking it would be close to airport however its in a remote area with nothing around, at least a 20 min drive to airport. The building was covered with dead plants, not very appealing but thats the last thing that went wrong with this booking. -the restaurant which was the main reason we chose this place was closed the day we went and the management notified us only a day prior when cancelation was not possible. -The property did not look like the images in the listing -Small rooms -dirty bathroom -not bed and breakfast…only prepackaged unappetizing food on bed -not near airport like advertised -horrible presentation as building is filled with dead plant creeping out -The location was remote so nothing nearby to eat or do. We immediately found better, modern, cleaner accommodation near airport and beach with great scenery, walk, shops and restaurants for half the price, and also included warm buffet...
