The location isn’t exactly what you’d describe as picturesque, but if you’re in the area, this place is definitely worth checking out.

We arrived before the lunch crowd at around 12:30, which was great because there’s one server that speaks English and he had to translate the day’s menu for us (there’s no written menu). This gave us a bit of time to ask a couple of questions before they got slammed with the lunch crowd.

Great find for lunch in the region. Almost next to valdichiana outlet village, beside Esso gas station, easy to find, big parking space as well. Fish and seafood on Tuesdays and Fridays, amazingly delicious especially for the price! Just had roast baby lamb for lunch and it was otherworldly. Glass of Cortona Syrah was 2 euros, hand made pici and main course 12€! If you just want a pasta or risotto plus water it is 6€, unbeatable. Every day it is full of locals, no surprise there. Cercavamo un posto per pranzare, di ritorno dal nostro viaggio da Roma a Torino e siamo incappati per caso in questo posto. Locale semplice, senza grosse pretese ma si mangia davvero bene e ad un prezzo molto onesto: con 14€ primo, secondo, contorno e acqua/vino. Il menù è fisso, con 3 diverse scelte per ogni portata. Le porzioni sono generose e davvero buone! Ottimo il fritto di calamari così come gli straccetti di vitello. Il personale è molto gentile, ci hanno anche offerto la ciotola di acqua per il cane senza doverla chiedere!

Unica nota, all' interno del locale faceva un po' freddo.
