Ristorante Fichetto Hotel — Restaurant in Foligno

We visited the hotel's restaurant and were greeted by the nice bartender, who also helped us decipher the Italian menu, and recommend dishes for us to choose from. He was polite, and patient- even when one of my girls accidently broke a wine glass... The kids dishes were great - they enjoyed them a lot, also the Tiramisu was classic and delicious. My husband also loved his tagliatelle pasta dish, and I, although trying the beef salad i think it was, would have loved to try the lasagna instead... The place is spacious, clean...

Cucina tipica Umbra menù alla carta periodo natalizio,antipasti da tagliere non esaltanti caratterizzati da formaggio,salumi,crostino con erba(molto piccolo)..senza anima ed inventiva...discreto il caldo buona la cartella di agnello....e lumache anche se troppo strutturate...con troppo olio e sugo molto pesante.I primi strangozzi non all'altezza della situazione....gnocchi da dividere nella pochezza della quantità e nella pesantezza del piatto e davvero scarsa la presenza del tartufo...considerando che si trattava di un piatto dell'eccellenza umbra....i secondi come tagliata...lombata vitello...tutto terminato...quindi poca scelta o pollo in vari modi o agnello o filetto di maiale...o ripiegato sul filetto molto asciutto ed insipido...mangiabile ma nulla di trascendentale....i dolci della casa...rappresentati da tiramisù e panna cotta...Non mi hanno affatto convinto...né nell' impiattamento...né nella qualità...porzioni abbondanti. Prezzo giusto....servizio non impeccabile....con mancanza delle posate all'inizio del pasto....sprovvisto di menù alla carta e con il cameriere che doveva andare a memoria...un pezzo di pane trovato già spezzato...come dire sono i dettagli a fare la differenza...nella sufficienza nel complesso..ma con margini di miglioramento molto ampi...considerando la fama e le recensioni positive di cui gode...

Es liegt etwas außerhalb von Foligno und ohne Navigationssystem hätten wir es kaum gefunden. Auch das Haus wäre kaum als Hotel und Restaurant erkennbar, wenn da nicht nicht eine kleines Schild über der Türe gewesen wäre. Über eine schmale Treppe erreicht man zunächst eine kleine Kaffee-Bar und wundert sich, ob es hier wirklich Mittagessen gibt. Erst, wenn man an der Bar vorbei in den durch einen schmalen Gang den Gastraum erreicht, erkennt man, dass es doch größer ist, als es von draußen erscheint. Bevor wir überhaupt etwas bestellten, wurden ein Teller mit Bruschette und je eine Flasche stilles und Medium Wasser auf den Tisch gestellt. Eine Speisekarte bekamen wir bei unserem ersten Besuch nicht zu sehen, stattdessen erklärte Koch mit Worten, was heute verfügbar ist. Bei unserem zweiten Besuch knapp zwei Jahre später gab es jedoch auch eine gedruckte Speisekarte. Das coratella di agnello als Vorspeise war sehr gut, ebenso die Tortelini mit Trüffel. Bei unserem zweiten Besuch des Restaurants teilten wir uns zu zweit "Antipasto misto completto" mit verschiedenen kalten und warmen Vorspeisen, danach kam "Faraona in salmì" [Perlhuhn lecker zu bereitet] und "Strapazzo uova al tartuffo" [Rührei mit Trüffel]. Ein Dessert war danach nicht mehr zu schaffen, aber einen Bitter und Limoncello nahmen...
