Hostaria Il Tagliere — Restaurant in Forano

Absolutely one of our new favorite pizza places to visit in Forano-Gavignano. So happy we found it so close to the train station. Owners were very friendly and service was attentive and kind. Even helped me with my Italian.

We absolutely love this thin crust pizza whose design is to compliment the toppings and ingredients. The tomato base is just pure fresh tomatoes but the white basis is a soft cheese base to compliment their toppings. The pizza size is huge so ask to split the pizza to give yourself a chance to try all the different styles.

On our last visit we also chose the antipasti plate which was a bit different and I loved the combinations they chose!

A pochi km dall’uscita autostradale Ponzano Soratte, abbiamo avuto il piacere di gustare una cena presso questo meraviglioso ristorante a conduzione familiare e devo dire che l'esperienza è stata assolutamente straordinaria. Dall'inizio alla fine, tutto è stato perfetto: dalla deliziosa cucina all'impagabile attenzione del personale. Il menù proposto è ampio e allettante, offrendo una vasta selezione di piatti. Abbiamo scelto un antipasto generoso, una pizza al centro e un piatto di pasta. Ogni portata era semplicemente squisita! Pasta fatta rigorosamente a mano e rappresenta un vero must in questo ristorante. Non da meno la pizza, con una crosta sottile e croccante, e un condimento generoso; ogni morso era un vero e proprio viaggio culinario attraverso la tradizione romana. Per concludere abbiamo assaggiato i dolci di Benedetta, preparati giornalmente con cura..a dir poco deliziosi. I prezzi praticati sono più che onesti, e l'atmosfera generale è resa ancora più piacevole dalle persone squisite che lavorano qui. During our recent holiday we loved this restaurant so much that we visited twice. The staff are lovely and made such an effort to speak English to us (to help with our limited Italian) the food was delicious and such good value for money. We sat outside both times, the atmosphere is lovely. We highly recommend...
