Ristorante Pizzeria Belvedere — Restaurant in Forano

I hadn't been to eat here in years, since I'd lived in italy...so it was nice to come back here for dinner with family. To start we had some mixed antipasto dishes, both hot and cold...all very good! All the cold cuts were decent, and the beans and sausage with olives, very tasty also! For my main, I had pasta with wild mushrooms, I'm pretty sure they were tagliolini. They were lovely and light and with the aromatic and tasty mushrooms went down a treat! The perfect dish! We came here on a Monday lunchtime so it was very quiet. When you arrive, you think this place is closed. Don’t give up. It’s OPEN. When we came, a car was parked to block the main entrance. This restaurant is a part of a hotel.

The food was brilliant throughout. Pasta with asparagus and speck was very simple and tasty. No fat, no butter. Very light but great depth with good brode. Steak on the bone is spotless. Crispy fat was really sweet. Good quality meat. The lunch was very good...

Siamo rimasti molto delusi dall’esperienza in questo ristorante. Al nostro arrivo ci è stato detto che i menù “non c’erano” e che “il menù era la cameriera”, la quale ci ha semplicemente elencato a voce le pietanze disponibili. In questo modo non abbiamo potuto conoscere i prezzi prima di ordinare.

Abbiamo preso due supplì e due pizze (una margherita con bufala e una diavola), una birra Ichnusa e un’acqua, spendendo in totale 33€. Solo al momento del conto abbiamo scoperto che le due pizze costavano insieme 22€, cosa che ci ha lasciati perplessi.

La cosa che ci ha infastidito di più è stata scoprire, andando al bagno, che i menù cartacei erano in realtà appoggiati vicino al camino: quindi non era vero che non fossero disponibili.

Infine, entrando all’interno del locale (sia per pagare che per andare in bagno), abbiamo trovato un uomo appartenente allo staff, che dormiva su una sedia: una scena che non trasmetteva certo professionalità.
