Il Ferracavallo — Restaurant in Frisa

We were looking forward to eating at this establishment because of all the good reviews but I was very disappointed. Especially with the service received from our waitress. She kept forgetting to bring things that we asked for, not once but twice. Once I had to actually get up and go inside the restaurant to get what I needed. People raved about the food but I didn’t think it was anything special. I had a pizza and it was just okay. I was expecting a Naples style pizza but it wasn’t like that at all. It was more of a focaccia styled pizza. The bruschetta was very good with multiple toppings on it. The jacket potatoes are overpriced if you order something that isn’t on the main menu. We paid €15 for a jacket potato! Plus, we paid €4 for a coke! One of my friends ordered a beer and only paid €2.50 for it. Granted, it was a small beer. Apparently, a lot of people love Il Ferracavallo because it was full on a week night. I think this place is overrated and the prices are too steep for a little town located out in the sticks. We discovered this place on our last evening. Otherwise we would have spent every night here to have dinner. The jacket potatoe Was just exzellent. The Pizza as well. Ristorante nonché pizzeria molto rustico nel centro di Frisa. Non è presente un vero e proprio parcheggio ma la location è veramente caratteristica e merita una visita. Sono presenti tavoli sia all'esterno che sotto un gazebo riparato, tutto in un ambiente accogliente. Menu molto vario e soprattutto con presenza di pizza senza glutine. Gli antipasti sono davvero sfiziosi, non solo fritti ma anche di pesce. Personalmente ho optato per una Jacked potato al salmone che ho trovato molto gustosa e rinfrescante pur essendo un piatto caldo.
