Trattoria Pizzeria S'Arghingiu — Restaurant in Gàiru/Gairo

An absolute delight amidst the Ogliastra mountains. I had lunch here today with my friends from Barcellana, following a wonderful day at the Su Marmori caves. Ugo, the owner, kindly recommended and served us incredible food. We savored a gourmet porcini mushroom lasagna and delectable culurgiones that were truly mouthwatering. We felt so lucky to have found this gem of a pizzeria after a long day of hiking. The service was excellent and so accommodating to our dietary needs. I had the best gluten free pizza and my partner (who is a massive pizza lover) stated that he has never tasted such a delicious pizza before.

Visited S'Arghingiu on a Sunday while visiting Gairo Old Town. The place is super authentic and everything is made from scratch. We had great Culurgiones and an interesting choice of cold cuts. Seadas as dessert were also super fresh and crunchy. Excellent prices as well and the owner is super polite and warm....
