Bar ristorante pizzeria Panorama — Restaurant in Gangi

Absolutely amazing! As a family of four, we stumbled upon the Panorama Bar Ristorante and Pizzeria while visiting Gangi, Italy. It was a Sunday, and most restaurants were closed, but we saw that they were open, however a baptism celebration was underway. After explaining that only a limited menu would be available, we readily agreed and Stella and her family seated us in a separate room and explained the menu choices, from which we could order.

We decided to order both options available for each of the 4 courses since it all sounded to good to decide and were absolutely blown away by the delicious and authentic food freshly prepared for us and the warm welcome and friendliness of Stella and her family.

A plate full of appetizers (2 omelet's, prosciutto and sausage and cheese, caponata...), two selections of pastas, Tagliatta and fillet and finally dessert.

The restaurant is a hidden gem, hiding just south of Gangi. It was the highlight of our trip to Sicily. We will definitely seek out on our next visit. Highly recommended!

Siamo andati a festeggiare il mio compleanno in questo ristorante, dovrei dire, che ci hanno fatto il tavolo carino, il servizio è stato buono, solo che hanno dimenticato di portare l'acqua, ma niente. Il problema è stato il cibo, il gusto mi aspettavo meglio, riguardo recensioni precedenti, non era tanto saporito, ma abbiamo mangiato tutto, perchè avevamo famme, ed è stato l'unico pasto quel giorno (siamo venuti dall'altra parte della Sicilia), inoltre non volevo fare questioni il giorno del mio compleanno. E poi dopo di notte ci siamo sentiti male allo stomaco, abbiamo vomitato, è stato un inferno, non mi ricordo quando mi sono sentita così male! E non potremo fare l'escursione, che avevamo programmato nel Parco delle Madonie, io da una vita volevo fare questa escursione... La vacanza è rovinata! Inoltre abbiamo pagato 90 euro per 2 antipasti, 2 primi, 2 dolci, vino e l'acqua... Il nome suggerisce che si tratta di un ristorante panoramico, ma i tavoli al piano terra si affacciano...
