Le Macine Ristorante | Gazzo — Restaurant in Gazzo

Once upon a time, three wandering American women were looking for lunch in the middle of the day and came across Le Macine. It's not something you'll find without the help of this Google search, it's tucked away behind a few back roads. It's absolutely stunning! Such a scenic place to be, inside and out. We were greeted with flutes of grapefruit juice before we were even seated. It was wonderful that they were open for lunch at a time most places are normally closed, and on a Sunday! The prices were amazing as well. While the dishes were definitely different, with things like mushrooms and fruit included in the ingredients, we really enjoyed it. Bread was included and we split a half liter of wine for 4 euro. Although I didn't get the chance to try it, I would recommend spending a little bit more for the steak, it's massive! Would definitely recommend going just for the scenery alone,...

After some walkings up and down through the fields around the restaurant finally we managed to get there and found the entrance too. Not that easy but it's worth. We had a great appetiser plate for 2 with local products and then I had an excellent meat with mixed grill vegetables. Esperienza negativa, tempi d'attesa lunghi, formaggio avariato e maleodorante, risotto immangiabile...5 piatti ordinati e 5 mandati indietro, carne grassa e filosa per il prezzo pagato, in conto cose mai arrivate, sugo d'anitra spacciato per sugo di chianina...ma quel che è peggio è che alle nostre rimostranze sul cibo non abbiamo ricevuto nessuna risposta...indifferenza e arroganza totale da parte dei proprietari mai presentati al tavolo...ma noto altri post su quest'argomento ,forse è un loro atteggiamento abituale...serata e locale da dimenticare.

PS : Sig.Cristina,titolare del locale, che non ha il coraggio di metterci la faccia ma risponde con un altro profilo mettendosi pure le 5 stelle....NO, non è mia abitudine raccontare bugie ...vero è che un altro sito di recensioni nella stessa data in cui siamo venuti noi c'è la recensione di una persona che NON era al nostro tavolo intitolata "PESSIMO " in cui le fanno alcune delle stesse contestazioni che le abbiamo fatto noi...non mi piace perdere tempo recensendo male il suo locale Sig.ra Cristina, ma se lo faccio è perché spero sia utile ad altre persone raccontando la verita (peccato non avere fotografato quella ciotolina di...
