Our hosts at our airbnb booked us a table at there fav restaurant in the area. And it didn’t disappoint. From the very start they knew we had a camper-van they got us to park in a spot that would make it easy to get out. They had a valet /parker to move cars when we left made getting out super easy as the car park was full due to it being very popular with locals. Service was amazing staff where helpful and super friendly. food was next level wine was great. It was my birthday and they brought us out a cake at the end that we had to take home to our airbnb because we had eaten so much. Price was great I was expecting it to be a bit more for the level of food and the quality of the restaurant but this was our first time eating out in Sicily. So I think it was great value for money. This was the best food we have eaten during our time in Sicily! Everything tasted authentic and amazing - bringing local ingredients to our table to show us and recommend delicious home-made courses. The service was brilliant too and the owner helped us translate to English. We spend the evening tasting and appreciating each other’s dishes. Inizio questa recensione partendo dalla disponibilità e gentilezza dei proprietari...persone come non trovavo da tempo, il 4 stelle che avrei dato l'ho tramutato in 5 proprio grazie a loro, complimenti davvero! Passiamo al cibo: ho consumato una pizza e una fetta di 7 veli; per quanto concerne la pizza, pur non reputando i condimenti di eccelsa qualità e quantità, ha un impasto che compensa di gran lunga il resto, il miglior impasto mangiato negli ultimi anni, se aumentassero la qualità e la quantità dei condimenti sarebbe la miglior pizza di Catania e provincia. La 7 veli...anche se non credo sia di loro produzione, devo dire che mi ha piacevolmente sorpreso, equilibrata nei sapori, addirittura ha superato alcune 7 veli mangiate da me in pasticcerie....ottima! Un plauso va al personale di sala che, nonostante la confusione tipica di un sabato sera, è stato puntuale, attento e preciso nel gestire il tavolo.
