'A Pummarulella — Restaurant in Giugliano in Campania

Our experience at this restaurant was overall very positive, with a few small aspects that could be improved – but nothing that would stop me from recommending it!

Location & Parking – The location itself isn’t the most ideal, but this is well compensated by the availability of parking, which is a huge advantage, especially considering how crowded the street can get in the evening.

Food – Absolutely excellent! As a big fan of Panna Cotta, I have to say this was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Every dish we tried was flavorful and well-prepared.

Ambiance – We chose to sit on the terrace. While the view wasn't particularly impressive and the exterior design of the restaurant could definitely use some updating, we were pleasantly surprised by the comfort. The interior has air conditioning, and the terrace is equipped with a massive fan that did a great job keeping the hot, humid air away – a thoughtful touch that really made a difference.

Prices – The pricing was more than fair, especially for the quality of the food and service. I can confidently recommend this place in terms of value for money.

Service – The staff was friendly and helpful throughout most of our visit. However, I would suggest they maintain the same respectful and welcoming attitude not only at the beginning but also when guests are leaving – small gestures can leave a lasting impression.

This place was recommended to us by a friend (Italian) for its pizza. And the pizza was very good in itself! I also ordered the panna cotta, which was delicious. However, the customer service from the staff at this restaurant was un-matched. Because it’s located outside of Naples, it’s very difficult to get a taxi and the buses had already stopped for the evening. Two of the pizzaiolos made personal phone calls to friends and family members who are taxi drivers to try and find us a ride into the city, which they did! There weren’t any nearby ATM’s so the girl at the register offered to have us transfer her money in exchange for cash. We were blown away by their kindness and hospitality. I would go back for the food, but will be raving about the customer service to absolutely everyone on top of that. 100/10...

This place is excellent! Great people (Gisella), just saying, were all friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere and easy parking. The food is great! You have to try this place! We had spaghetti with olives and capers and it was great. We both thought that there were two many capers and the briney flavor made the dish too salty. But it was still good guys. Then we had the filet pepper verdi (with green peppercorns). The steak was an excellent cut of beef cooked to perfection. The green pepper corn sauce had unfortunately way too many green peppercorns which sadly took away from the delicious creamy sauce. But again, it was still a great flavor. Then we had the recommended Tiramisu. And they were right, excellent! It really was a very light but decadent Tiramisu! We will be back for sure!...
