Ristorante Da Peppe — Restaurant in Giulianova

Wir waren zu zehnt im Ristorante All’Antica Brace „Da Peppe“ in Giulianova – und wieder einmal absolut begeistert. Das Lokal liegt etwas außerhalb, an der Via Nazionale Richtung Teramo, ist aber super erreichbar. Links und rechts vom Gebäude gibt es viele kostenlose Parkplätze – perfekt für eine entspannte Anreise.

Zwei sichere Indizien für ein großartiges Restaurant? Wenn hier Einheimische essen und LKW-Fahrer auf der Durchfahrt anhalten. Beides trifft zu – und bestätigt: Das ist kein Touristen-Hotspot, sondern authentische italienische Küche vom Feinsten.

Eine Speisekarte sucht man hier vergeblich – und das ist gut so! Die herzliche Bedienung zählt auf, was es gibt, erklärt die Gerichte und gibt Empfehlungen. Zum Start gab es geröstetes Brot. Danach hatten wir als Primi Spaghetti alla chitarra al ragú und Tagliatelle alla boscaiola – alles frisch, perfekt al dente und mit viel Liebe zubereitet.

Als Secondi folgten Salsiccia und Arrosticini mit Salat und Pommes. Zum krönenden Abschluss: hausgemachtes Tiramisu – ein Traum! Die Qualität merkt man in jedem Bissen.

Der Service war durchweg aufmerksam: mehrmals wurde nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung sei oder ob noch etwas fehle. Man fühlt sich hier wirklich willkommen.

Dieses Restaurant gibt es seit 1957 – und wir verstehen genau, warum. Jedes Jahr, wenn wir in Giulianova sind, ist ein Besuch Pflicht. Essen: fantastisch. Service: herzlich und aufmerksam. Preis-Leistung: überaus fair.

La classica trattoria di paese dove trovi intatti i sapori della tradizione. Si comincia con l' antipasto di salumi nostrani, olive, formaggio fritto e pecorino di mezza stagionatura. Le paste sono rigorosamente fatte a mano, immancabili gli spaghetti alla chitarra al sugo. Da provare anche la pasta e fagioli in brodo fatta seguendo la tradizione. Se poi non siete ancora sazi, potete scegliere tra gli arrosti di pesce o di carne oppure i classici arrosticini. Anche il conto sarà una sorpresa. Se siete in zona, per vacanza o di passaggio, una tappa è d' obbligo.

The classic country inn where you can find intact the traditional flavors. We start with the appetizer with salami and ham homemade, olives, fried cheese and middle-ripening pecorino cheese. The pastas are hand-made, unforgettable guitar spaghetti with tomato sauce. To try the also pasta and bean soup made following the tradition. Then, if you are still not satisfied, you can choose from grilled fish or meat, or classic arrosticini made with mutton. The bill will be a surprise. We stopped here on the drive to Southern Italy. Its a truckers cafe but the welcoming couldnt have been nicer. Really well looked after, the food was generous, local and tasty. House wine was very nice. They have a seperate ladies toilet that my wife used and she said it was fanastic, you just have to ask for the key....
