this is a hidden place somewhere in gorizia, regione del Friuli ai conifini it is a must - the fish is outstanding and they do have their own winery they also have an excellent grappa friulana selection its only 20-30 min drive from monfalcone and 10 min from the isola d' grado, 1 1/2 hr from venezia the place has also a small hotel with neat accomodations and eno-gastronomy tours note that the food is seasonal (like in most italia) and what you get in winter may not be available in the spring I strongly recommend the vini friulani (E.G. A great restaurant in Belvedere not far from Grado. All dishes we ate were excellently prepared and made with fresh ingredients, the menu is not too big, which is a big advantage as it always ensures fresh food. We enjoyed the pasta dishes and the local fish; We also liked their polenta-based fish plates. The location is very pleasant and inviting. The service is friendly, professional and relaxed, and the COVID precautions are in place. Good value for what we got. We will definitely recommend it...

Partiamo dalla location. Posto situato al confine tra mare e campagna in una località tranquilla. Locale curato e con tavoli sotto un grande pergolato, di vite naturalmente, dove si sta veramente bene. Visto il periodo il distanziamento tra i tavoli ha fatto sì che ci si sente a proprio agio nonostante fosse stato tutto pieno. Il pranzo, a dir poco da 10.....partendo dal bere.....un bianco di loro produzione (Pignurela....ricavato da uve di pinot grigio) bello fresco che aveva mille aromi e profumi, passando per un antipasto di pesce crudo ( tartare di tonno, scampi e gamberi di Mazara ❤️) che ti lasciano il sapore del mare in bocca. Poi una pasta con l'astice strepitosa con mezzo astice a testa. Mio figlio ha preso i calamari fritti.....belli morbidi, bianchi e asciutti sintomo di una buona frittura con olio fresco. Per finire il dolcetto.....un tiramisù presentato in un vasetto, come la panna cotta alle fragole e una millefoglie alla crema. Tutti e tre erano una degna conclusione di un ottimo pranzo. Rapporto qualità prezzo giustissimo. Giretto in cantina. Fornitissima e a prezzi ottimi......infatti abbiamo approfittato del wine...
