Crotto Buba — Restaurant in Grandola ed Uniti

Found this place on Google, the reviews were really good so we decided to give it a try one night as we wanted to eat more off the beaten track! Easy to get to from where we were staying! Located quite high up the mountain so the views are incredible.

This place is such an authentic Italian restaurant. The owners/staff were so friendly, speaking good English. The food menu was larger than expected. The food came out quickly and it was delicious! Delicious tagalitelle and the fillet was cooked amazingly, but if you don't like it rare, ask for it cooked more as they don't ask how you want it cooking! Wow, the food is just so fantastic! We are so amazed by how creative, fresh and flavorful the pasta, dumplings and every other dish were! So creative and so fresh!!! We called to book in advance for a Sunday lunch and it was full when we got there. The view was magnificent overlooking lake Como with lots of green as well.
