Trattoria Cavalleri — Restaurant in Grassobbio

I was so starving after the work and I stayed a place without too many choices for food. So I googled this restaurant and drive there. What happened next just made my day so memorable. It was obviously not a dinner serving time when I walked in this lovely and amazing small family restaurant. Even I don’t speak their language, the owner and lady are so patient, kind and lovely to explain to me. and they insist to serve me with simple but delicious food even it was my mistake about the time. I got some delicious potato snack as a treat, very simple but delicious macaroni, I love the Tiramisu. I hope one day I can come back at the right time to have some more Bergamo food. Very friendly and warm hearted owner and staff. We arrived in the afternoon when must Italian kitchens are closed and they proposed different options of good home-made dishes to us. In the end we got ravioli, pizza, two kinds of meat with sides, a large water and two double espresso for 24 Euro. Very good, large portions, great price....
