The food was good and at a good price. Some of the main dishes and drinks were unavailable. We were one of the 1st to sit down and even a table that sat down 1 hour after us got their food before us. The biggest issue for us was the attitude of one of the waiters (possible owner). Our Italian is very poor but we try. Which is more than can be said for this man. He was very impatient and often just walked away part way through us trying to place an order for both drinks and food. Don't be fooled by the international flags out front as I believe the English language is not the problem, but us the actual English. The Dutch (NL) family on the next table ordering in English did not appear to have a problem. I do not like leaving negative feedback especially for small private business, but I can not recommend this place and in over 3 weeks of being in Italy this has been the only bad experience. If you are English I recommend you avoid...

A very rustic bodega situated on a country main road. Based on the good reviews decided to have dinner here. A summary: Service: 5/5 Atmosphere:5/5 Food taste and quality: 3/5. The pasta was correctly cooked, bit short of salt but a well balances ragu. The penette with truffle was just too overpowering and could be with less as this just kills the main flavor. Salads and fried vegetables are over priced for what you get so would avoid these. The polpettine was tasty but not correctly warmed up and expensive for what you get. Value for money: 3/5

Opted not to have coffee or dessert but that looked good and the place is frequented by the locals. Overall a good restaurant but some prices are not relative to what you get which is...

Food was the only good part of the experience when it eventually arrived nearly 2H waiting. When we arrived, 7 of us, most tables were empty but they placed us in the corner next to the kitchen we asked if we could move to a different same size table but was refused. They was out of gin out of Rosie out of prosecco out of 2 of the main dishes. All that wouldn't of been that bad if it wasn't for how badly we was treated. The waiter was very rude to us walked off while trying to order refused to talk to us. We asked for the check again just walked off in the end we had to just pay at the shop...

Botteghina di Dudda has a nice setting with a classic Tuscan vibe. The food was good, but not particularly memorable – the pasta dishes were decent, though nothing outstanding. The wines were very good, but only because we already knew which ones to order. The biggest issue was the service: dishes came out in no real order, with mains and pasta arriving before the appetizers. It felt quite disorganized. That said, the prices were very fair, which makes up for a lot. We enjoyed some really good wine at an incredibly low price, so overall it was a mixed experience but still decent value.

We walked in around 3:30pm and the owner Francesca was kind in explaining the kitchen was closed but was able to heat things for us. We ordered a flatbread with truffles, ham and cream sauce. She also accommodated a vegetarian request for a toasted panini with cheese and spinach. We had a pana cotta and tiramisu for dessert, both were phenomenal ! All of this is truly home made. Stumbled into this bottega and so happy we did. Must visit if you are driving by.
