What a weird, wonderful find thanks to Marco at Forte Sorgnano! Basically attached to a tractor museum, which I can imagine kids would love to do the one-two with this delightful restaurant. A few tables were filled with families, but the space will accommodate a ton of people.
Our group of four arrived fairly late on a Wednesday, expecting simple eats and maybe wine. Our server was friendly and accommodating, though we had Italian speakers (and we all speak food!). We ordered an awful lot of food, after a long travel day.
The pizze were fantastic, cracker-thin crust beauties, so many varieties from which to choose, the 30cm pies no more than 9.50 euros each. My anchovy-olive pie was delicious! In addition, the pasta was unexpectedly top-shelf preparation. Plus, not that it was a surprise, the house red was a steal. If only I wasn't driving, we could have made a longer evening of it. All told, four of us eating antipasti, pasta, and a pie each (plus copious vino rosso di casa) ate for well under 100 euros.

The mozzarella balls were cold on the inside (cheese wasn't cooked through), and the bruschetta ordered from the menu didn't match what was delivered (ordered mushroom but what looked like canned sundried tomato...
