Ristorante Pizzeria San Bartolomeo — Restaurant in Gubbio

My wife has for many years known this restaurant but yesterday we took the short drive from Gubbio to taste the food. I must say I was pleasantly surprised . Everything we ordered the Baccala for my lady and I had the Tagliata di manzo my daughter and her fiance had pizza . I ate at this restaurant during my stay in the area. Although none of the staff spoke English, it didn't matter at all. The restaurant is amazing, the staff treated me like an old friend. Il cibo è di buona qualità, ma purtroppo l'esperienza è stata penalizzata dai tempi di attesa. Abbiamo aspettato circa un'ora prima che arrivasse qualcosa (a parte l'acqua, naturalmente).

Dopo circa 20 minuti ci è stato portato il pane, ma senza accompagnamenti come olio o burro, il che ha reso l'attesa ancor più evidente. In totale, siamo stati al ristorante per circa 3 ore e non abbiamo avuto occasione di fare tanto altro nel resto della giornata. Capisco che possano verificarsi inconvenienti in cucina, ma ciò che mi ha deluso maggiormente è stato l'atteggiamento di uno dei camerieri (che probabilmente era in realtà il proprietario perché lo abbiamo rivisto alla cassa): poco empatico e, in alcuni momenti, quasi infastidito, senza segni di scuse per il ritardo. Spero che sia stato un caso isolato, perché con un servizio più attento il ristorante potrebbe offrire...
