Il primo giorno di estate vera, dopo un mese ricco di pioggia. Cielo terso, azzurro, colori vivi e smaglianti. Bellissimo percorrere la panoramica che sale da Dogliani per i crinali della Langa rimasta autentica e selvaggia. Si attraversano gli ultimi grandi vigneti del più grande dolcetti, si arriva a Belvedere Langhe poi a Murazzano, patria della pecora e delle tume migliori e dopo pochi km la frazione di Igliano, dove Jerome e Charlotte hanno portato tutta l'arte della cucina e dell'accoglienza di anni di lavoro presso il mitico tre stelle Pavillon Ledoyen di Alleno. Un locale luminosissimo con colori chiari, con il paesaggio di Langa che riempiono gli occhi. L accoglienza di Charlotte è unica per amore, gentilezza e professionalità, un bicchiere di Alte Langhe con splendidi accompagnamenti nel giardino, poi al tavolo un trionfo unico di bellezza, arte, sapori difficili da comparare Dopo ancora un delicato pre antipasto ho scelto un piatto di croccanti escargot e un fantastico San Pietro che rimarranno nella mia memoria. Un dolce da sogno per finire un pranzo indimenticabile. Dalla ricca carta dei vini abbiamo scelto un Sauvignon di una delle cantine simbolo del nostro grande Roero, Matteo Correggia ed un Langhe Riesling di CaViola. Un grande Ramandolo 2019 per accompagnare i dolci unici di Jerome, che con grande semplicità e dolcezza è venuto in giardino al momento del caffè per un saluto. Prezzo veramente equo per un pranzo unico per qualità, sapori, estro, armonia, teciba e presentazione. Super super consigliato per un esperienza unica in questa Langa magica e misteriosa. Un plauso ed un grazie di cuore a Charlotte, alla sua preziosa collaboratrice e a Jerome per averci regalato un altra esperienza indimenticabile. Non vediamo l'ora di ritornarci

Frequentiamo questo ristorante e hotel da molti anni, una bellissima struttura lontana dai percorsi turistici affollati con magnifica vista sulle Alpi. Charlotte e Jerome vi stupiranno con un'accoglienza magnifica e una cucina francese con influenze piemontesi davvero eccellente e unica nel suo genere. Piatti eccezionali e in stagione ottimi piatti a base di selvaggina. Camere molto belle e confortevoli. Regalatevi un weekend qui o anche solo un pranzo, non resterete delusi.

Locale raffinato e lievemente minimalista, piatti di impostazione francese, data anche dalla provenienza dello chef, ma di grandissimo valore e stile nella presentazione. Servizio impeccabile ed attento, ben fornita anche la carta vini. Locale e cucina da scoprire, anche perché la struttura, che per altro ha anche uno splendido albergo 4 stelle, è situata in alta langaroli in una frazione di un piccolo paesino, che ormai si sta spopolando.

Frequentiamo questo ristorante e hotel da molti anni, una bellissima struttura lontana dai percorsi turistici affollati con magnifica vista sulle Alpi. Charlotte e Jerome vi stupiranno con un'accoglienza magnifica e una cucina francese con influenze piemontesi davvero eccellente e unica nel suo genere. Locale raffinato e lievemente minimalista, piatti di impostazione francese, data anche dalla provenienza dello chef, ma di grandissimo valore e stile nella presentazione. Servizio impeccabile ed attento, ben fornita anche la carta vini. Locale e cucina da scoprire, anche perché la struttura, che per altro ha anche uno splendido albergo 4 stelle, è situata in alta langaroli in una frazione di un piccolo paesino, che ormai si sta spopolando.

Everything about Le Pietmonisine was superb, from our arrival to departure!||||First off, Charlotte & Jerome and their team go out of their way to make you feel welcome and wanting for nothing. Molto simpatico. Even Charlotte's dogs made us welcome, as did her elderly neighbour who wanted Lyn to make her a dress like the one she was wearing when we left!||||Next, the room. We had a suite on the 2nd floor (there is a lift) which was huge. Lots of space, couch, lounge chairs etc. big modern bathroom. Very comfortable bed. And wrap around balconies and views.|||| Everything was super clean.||||The environment is calm and restful both inside and out as you are surrounded by nature at its best along with a helping hand from the farmers who planted all the beautiful fruit and nut trees.||||And the main reason for us coming all the way from Australia to stay at Le Pietmonsine. The food and the wine. Jerome is a talented chef whose love of combining the best of ingredients from other regions with the best locally is obvious to all who eat here. This love of ingredients shows up in his use of the nuts, fruits and even honey that they produce themselves.||||We had one of our best meals here. We partook of the degustation menu with matched wines. We made a couple of tweaks to the menu proposed by Jerome which were happily accomodated. The food was delicious, generous and beautifully presented. And Charlotte did a fantastic job with the wine selections - all were very good, and whilst the Langhe region was well represented, she was not averse to including an out of towner where it made more sense - the Alsace reisling was perfect with my fois gras, whilst Lyn had the local Arneis with her octopus for example.||||My only complaint - I ate too much! Did I tell you about the housemade breads? The apricot loaf with the burgundy butter was delicious.||||Thank you for a...

This hotel and restaurant had a slightly surreal feel about it but I think that the owners were away recovering from a busy August. We arrived hot and sweaty after a 10 mile walk from Mondovi and when we were offered water asked for beer instead. The lady in charge, who seemed to be on her own, suggested that it was too early for beer but we persuaded her that it was never too early. After a long delay our beer arrived and we had time to survey the spotlessly clean, very modern reception and restaurant area. Someone has put a lot of effort and time into the place and the rooms were equally modern and well equipped.||||We came down before dinner for an aperatif which was served with the most awful snacks we have ever tasted. As time went by, there were no menus offered and by 8:15 we were starving and went to find some. Dinner was OK but in no way special and certainly not up to the standard of other reviews.||||In the morning the breakfast spread was excellent but the multilingual waiter, having offered us eggs, did not know how to make a boiled egg. It's three minutes in BOILING water.||||The moral is, don't stay here if the owners are away. The fact that we ate in an empty restaurant suggests that we were squeezed in during a normally...
