This restaurant can be quoted as a typical trattoria for local people. It offers a very pleasant garden area with olive trees providing pleasant shade in the summertime. The dishes offered go much beyond what you could expect in this region. They are nicely presented, excellent, and very tasty. The restaurants offers various fish dishes, different meat dishes but also excellent pizza. The service is absolutely courteous and the owner satisfies his guest's requests at his best. The wine list is not extensive but offers a satisfactory choice of good local wines. The prices are decent and the portions of the dishes are more than sufficient....

Wow , we had an amazing dinner tonight. They put a table under the olive trees just for us . We’re from pacific Canada so we eat a lot of seafood, but the way our dinner was prepared tonight was like nothing I’ve ever had . Hard to explain but every aspect of it was perfect. Didn’t have room for the second course but we’ll be back to try them. Best meal we’ve had in a long time . Bravo...

Locale molto carino per location e atmosfera. Cucina raffinata ma con semplicità lo chef esalta il sapore di ogni elemento del piatto senza esagerazione. Un' apoteosi di gusto sia nei piatti freddi ( spettacolari i crudi di mare in tutte le declinazioni in menù compresa la cheesecake di tartare di gamberi) che in quelli caldi ( non perdetevi la pasta stupefacente composta da linguine di canapa e frutti di mare... l'effetto stupefacente non è la canapa ma tutto il resto!!). Infine una nota di merito anche alla pizza leggera ben cotta ma non biscottata gustosa e digeribile ( buona anche il giorno dopo!). Vorrei segnalare questa chicca di Calabria che non ha ancora ricevuto stelle Michelin ma che credo che non abbia da invidiare nulla ai più noti ristoranti d'Italia... unico ostacolo secondo me alla notorietà è la posizione in un piccolo paesino di Calabria... ostacolo inesistente per avventori e turisti...in pieno ottobre il passaparola riempie le sale ed il giardino de Il Saraceno!
