Some months ago I made a reservation through the via michelin/the fork website for lunch. I received the confirmation emails and even in the morning of our reservation I received a confirmation email. I was looking forward to an amazing lunch. When we arrived there, the parking lot was empty and the restaurant was closed… as the gentleman who opened the door told us. He clearly recognized my name and said he told the fork they were closed. This was a let down. Even more when back home I saw in my email I received an cancellation email from the fork… sent 1 minute before our actual reservation time when we were actually just walking back from the restart door to our car! I have come to expect a lot from Michelin starred restaurants in both their hospitality and their service to guests… this has been the biggest disappointment so far. So if you book online, please call the restaurant as well. They will clearly not...

A real trip back in time! If you’ve ever dreamed of returning to the 1980s, this is the place for you. Nothing has changed — not the décor, not the facilities, not even the organization. You never really know which door to use: front, back, or maybe the one downstairs! The blankets casually thrown over the lobby couches set the mood, and the lack of hot water completes the full vintage experience. The tiny shower products seem to be there just for decoration. Pause d’une nuit au cours de notre périple entre Pompei et Lyon. Accueil très sympathique malgré notre retard du fait de la circulation, dont nous nous excusons encore. Un vrai havre de paix dans un immense jardin verdoyant doté d’un très bon restaurant. Dîner en terrasse, le cadre est élégant, le personnel charmant et les plats professionnels. La carte se distingue avec une proposition d’agneau, de ris de veau, de feuilleté de foie gras et signe une expérience culinaire internationale soutenue par une carte des vins large. Mention spéciale pour la coupe de glace maison, servie à table, avec les accompagnements au choix. Les bouchées dégustatives agrémentent agréablement l’apéritif et le café. Le petit déjeuner s’est révélé varié et savoureux. Belle expérience gustative en somme, encadrée par les maîtres des lieux, pour ces deux repas. Le vaste parking sécurisé était un atout pour nous.

La nuit, en revanche, ne nous a pas enchanté malgré la vaste chambre avec balcon mise à notre disposition. La climatisation enclenchée seulement à notre arrivée n’a pas permis de rafraîchir par avance les lieux surchauffés par la chaleur résiduelle. La literie vieillissante mériterait à minima des sur-matelas pour davantage de confort. Idem pour les oreillers.
