Where to begin... I am not gonna lie, but I was hesitant about going to La Fazenda after "Casa Brasileira" closed for business. I am Brazilian, so I have an expectation when it comes to churrasco.... that being said, I am extremely disappointed with my experience at La Fazenda this past Sunday.
I was there with my family for lunch and we were seated in a very dark room. The waiters were quite fast at taking our drinks order, however, the gauchos (serving the meat) would barely stop by our table. My husband had to put his hand up a few times to even get the attention of some of them. We ended up getting full by eating the dishes from the salad bar and only experienced 3 or 4 different meats that passed around ONCE EACH TIME after a very long interval. They would come one time every 15-20 minutes, and by the time they would get to our "dark room", our table was usually skipped. The gauchos served another table and skipped us. We kept getting skipped over and over again.
For the high price we paid for Rodizio, I expected to be served some meat. They seemed to be prioritizing the other room closer to the buffet area and completely ignoring the "dark room" we were seated at.
Needless to say, my husband and I were extremely disappointed and probably will find another Brazilian...
Read moreFirst off I’m going to apologize because I did not take any pictures of this place. Even though I have been there multiple times, but this is a new location. I called earlier in the day to make reservations and was able to get in contact with somebody to schedule that. Upon arriving to the facility, there was ample parking. And we were seated according to our reserve time. The staff was amazing and friendly. Our waiter was actually really beautiful, but that is beside the point. This place offers several varieties of meats from the grill as well as a large buffet for sides, starches and vegetables. They have amazing wines and mixed drinks if that is something that you are into. They also have a playground outside so if you decide to go with your friends or a group gathering, do you have a place for the kids to play while the adults enjoy themselves and their meal. Lastly, if you were playing a large group gathering, I recommend calling ahead of time as they do have a side of the restaurant that can hold large groups of people. The pricing for the meal is pretty much fair as opposed to what you get because you do get a lot of food. I know you will enjoy it and you will definitely...
Read moreGreat place to dine, kind of an all you can eat experience with great meat, very flavorful, side dishes are great and currently served by staff (because of covid, otherwise it'd be buffet). We tried lots of their meats and dishes and they were very very good and appreciated. Price is obviously high, so if you're on a tight budget you might think twice about it... But it's not a bad thing! It makes a lot of sense because as mention before the meat comes non stop! The staff was super friendly and helpful with responses to questions about the food, and they look so cool with the meat on the "sword".
Give it a go! It's worth the trip in...
