La Guinguette — Restaurant in Jesolo

We arrived around 19.15 on a friday in late June, the waitress adviced us to book a table next time, to make sure we got a seat. We still got a table immediately (4 adults and 2 kids). We ordered 5 burgers, a few beers and some fries. Burgers were great, large enough and with good flavor combinations. We got different raw/done levels, which were respected. Beers were also good, the selection was large and we got a small free tasting of a beer to help us decide. Small negative note the lack of choice when it comes to beer sizes (all draft beers come in a 0.33 liter size, if you want a different size you have to go for a bottle). Fries arrived almost immediately, burgers also arrived very fast (we arrived quite early for Italian dinner, so the place was still rather empty, though it filled up completely in the following 2 hours before we left). We ordered a couple additional items which were also delivered fast. Our plates were taken seconds after we were done with the last bites (and still munching), which I always find a bit annoying but it's common practice in touristy towns. We also ordered a couple of desserts. Tiramisù was good but had a bit too much cream compared to cookies and coffee, which made it slightly dry. The other dessert was a kids dessert and was also good enough. But I'd say desserts are not their strong suit. Bill was a completely fair amount, and all items were accounted for correctly on the first go, even if we ordered them in different rounds. Service was informal but still precise and complete.

All in all, this is one of the best burger+beer...

Fantastic burgers, great staff, friendly service, very unique atmosphere! :) We spent our holiday in Jesolo last year, stumbled upon this restaurant on our 2nd day by accident and the experience was so good we had to return 2 more times that week. The homemade pesto and mayonnaise are delicious, they have interesting craft beers and soft drinks, and they have the most exciting burgers in the world! Not just the usual few types you can find anywhere, but they use a wide variety of components bravely. I tried 3 different burgers and all of them were fantastic! Haven't found better burgers anywhere in the world since then, planning to return for some more! :D The whole place has a special style which is very refreshing after all the "ordinary" restaurants. The staff matches the place, all of them were great characters and very friendly. Good times spent there, 10/10, totally recommend, would like to...

Achtung Touristenfalle wie im Bilderbuch! Billiges Essen super teuer, bei kleiner Portion Pommes (6 Euro) werden noch kleinere Portion Ketchup und Mayo extra verrechnet (jeweils 1 Euro!!). "Saucen sind hausgemacht" steht in der Karte, bei Nachfrage wurde vom sehr freundlichen Personal (etwas beschämt) erklärt, ist fertig Saucen die "im Haus" nachgewürzt werden... Roher Thunfisch Burger (21 Euro) war in Ordnung und frisch, das Burgerfleisch roch aber arg verganmelt (musste sofort ausspucken!), wurde dann einfach nochmal extra lange gebraten und nochmal serviert, weil anscheinend nur das typische Rindfleisch der Gegend... Geruch war fast weg, hoffen wir auf die gute Verdauung von meiner Frau! Ich hoffe die NAS (italienische Gesundheitspolizei) schaut hier mal vorsichtshalber vorbei, denn da wird ganz offensichtlich Profitmaximierung betrieben - und das vermutlich auf auch Kosten der Qualität...

Übrigens Life-Musik kostet 5 Euro statt 3 Euro pro Kopf 'coperto'. Wir waren zweit mit kleinen Kind, haben 80 Euro ausgegeben! Je 1 Bier und Saft fürs Kind neben den Pommes. Mit allen anderen Leuten der Gegend mit denen wir über diese 'Erfahrung' geredet haben, schämen sich - zu recht - für so eine professionelle Abzocke! A propos: als SEO Marketing Fachmann kann ich behaupten, die meisten anderen Rezensionen sind fakes...

Normalerweise schreib ich nur positive Rezensionen, aber hier musste ich in Hinsicht auf 'Gefahr in Verzug' hinsichtlich der Gesundheit der Kunden und ihrer Brieftaschen eine Ausnahme machen.

Es meldet sich nun vermutlich der Inhaber oder, wahrscheinlicher, seine 'Online Marketing Freunde' entrüstet zurück, aber ich kann Ihnen sagen, er hat schon am checkout (an der Kasse) verstanden, dass wir (alles!)...
