Makkaroni bros — Restaurant in L'Aquila

We stayed for one night in L'Aquilla and the owner of our accommodation recommended this restaurant. We had a great meal with super tasty food. We had a shared starter of meat and cheese, a pasta dish and a chicken dish. Tiramsui and sweet wine and biscuits. We also had a bottle of water and a small caraf of wine. Very good value for money and everything was great. The man who greeted us and served us, spoke really good English which helped us. I would definitely recommend...

Cena estiva proposta da un carissimo amico. Ci siamo ritrovati così nel ristorante ‘Makkaroni Bros.’ accolti dalla stessa calorosa piacevolissima ospitalità come quella che un tempo offriva quel rinomato ristorante aquilano ospitato dalle stesse mura. Riccardo, Stefano e lo Chef Sbroglia mantengono la promessa riposta nei piatti selezionati, non sofisticati, sottilmente raffinati. Dal baccalà fritto alla polpetta al sugo nella classica terrina, dalla pera glacé allo zafferano alla tagliata sfumata in birra. Ogni sapore é autoctono, tradizionale, non banale, franco ( aggettivo e anche omonimo omaggio allo Chef ). Un ristorante nuovo e vivace che esprime il proprio carattere e nuova identità dai piatti agli arredi, ma che trova il suo posto nello storico contesto di Piazza S.Maria Paganica e della chiesa capo quarto sulla quale si affaccia. Da tornarci assolutamente per assaggiare le altre portate de la carte, i dolci, i vini, le birre e chissà se non con familiari, colleghi di lavoro e stessi...
