We loved it! They received us warmly. Because of a language barrier we were instantly shown the kitchen to point out what they could serve us (I think they wanted to make clear there was no pasta and pizza, which I guess many tourists might look for). That in itself felt fun and easygoing.
We were led to a different room on the 1st floor for dinner. For some reason I always like it when this happens. It feels like you get a special seat in the house! Also, you get a more complete sense of the vibe in the place.
As apertivo we got delicious small pieces of salami. The main courses were chicken skewers and multiple bruschetta. They praise their bread, which we definitely get - it's great! I would recommend tasting one, or several, wines and at the least try the chicken skewers. It's incredibly tender and has a beautiful subtle, but very tasty, coating.

Read moreSeemed like a neighborhood place...bruschetta, arrosticini, beer and sides. Was exactly what I expected, a casual dining experience. The sides are large and the meat skewers, typically small. I would order less sides next time as you get bread and salami to start plus grilled bread with the meal. Tons of food!...
