I Mille Bar Paninoteca — Restaurant in La Maddalena

Nice spot with good food, hammocks, shade and cute feral cats (that are happy to receive scraps and scritches).

There are a bunch of picnic tables to the left of the "paninoteca" that aren't directly attached to the business, but you can indicate you'll be sitting over there and they will bring you your food by calling out the name on the order. The tables are also large enough to share with others if you can't find a seat. We ordered in Spanish, but the staff appeared to speak English as well.

Get the "Jolly" if you're hungry. They don't list the ingredients like the other sandwiches, it just says to "trust them." But for the curious, it's a hamburger with cheese, bacon, caramelized onion, ketchup/mayo and a fried egg!

Ciao a tutti, è due anni che trascorriamo le vacanze alla Maddalena, ed I Mille è una tappa obbligatoria. Panini eccellenti e ricchi di ogni bene, con tantissime possibilità di scelta. Area posta nella pineta sull'isola di Caprera. Ritrovo di molte famiglie ma anche aperitivi al top con amici. tavoloni di legno dove poter sostare per assaporare la bontà delle pietanze. Zona amache dove riposarsi e rilassarsi. L'ordinazione viene fatta al bancone, dopo di che lasci il nominativo e ti vai a scegliere un bel posticino. Quando il tuo ordine è pronto i ragazzi vengono nella pineta e pronunciano il nome dell'ordine, e dopo che ti sei fatto vedere, arrivano con il tutto. Se volete la frutta fresca che preparano loro, non aspettate di finire il pranzo e poi andarla a prendere, ma quando fate l'ordine prenotatela subito e poi andate a ritirarla a fine pranzo, così rimane fresca nel frigorifero, perchè tante volte finisce in fretta. Purtroppo c'è la presenza di api, ma non preoccupatevi nelle foto che vi posto, troverete il modo di farle stare calme e non che vi attacchino il panino. Tante persone si spaventano e si alzano incavolate e mangiano in piedi. Le api non fanno niente se le si lasciano stare, purtroppo l'odore dei salumi le attirano, e così vi disturbano, ma voi fate come facciamo noi e vi lasceranno stare. Da quest'anno pagamento anche con bancomat e carte di credito. Consiglio questo posto a tutti quelli che vorranno trascorrere del tempo in famiglia o anche perchè no da soli per riposarsi e passare una giornata in serenità. The spot has a really nice area with plenty of tables under the trees. There are also a few hammocks. The spot has a wide selection of paninis and you can also build your own panino. The staff is fairly welcoming. The Greek salad was okay but the veggies were not too good for the price. They also sell some ice cream which was fine.
