We were recently staying in the village so stopped off here for dinner one evening. We loved the atmosphere and sat outside to eat. Prices of food and drink are great and the food was to die for! The menu was in Italian and English which was great and the man taking orders spoke good English too 👍 You have to queue to order which normally wouldn’t be a problem but the evening we visited there was a large party of teenagers in the garden and they seemed to have their drinks on a tab so whilst other customers queued up, teenagers would just come in and go straight to the front to order more cocktails, which were extremely time consuming so we stood there queuing for what felt like forever whilst they just came and went and had their drinks made instantly. Again this was annoying but I would have felt valued as a customer if the staff acknowledged other customers and apologised for the wait but he didn’t. Unfortunately there was only one man taking orders and making cocktails, another member of staff on the till would have sped everything up especially if you have a large party in? Despite the wait to order the rest of the experience was great,...

The restaurant left a mixed impression. On one hand – a very pleasant atmosphere, a cozy place, and truly delicious food. On the other hand – the service left a bitter aftertaste. The waitress (likely the owner or a family member) was openly rude and arrogant, and this alone overshadowed all the positive aspects that could have made the evening perfect.

If service and staff attitude aren’t important to you, I would still recommend visiting, as the food is worth it. But if the quality of service matters to you, it’s better to avoid it or request to be served by the young female...

We loved the time spent at this place on a mid-July early evening. We could see the sun setting, we ordered the cold cuts & cheese along with some tea (for some) and beers (for others). It's great to go with kids as they have a lot of space to run around and play safely. At the same time, all the outdoors space is lovely, the herbs, the atmosphere and the food. Highly recommended!

100% recommend stopping here on your hike to Porto Venere or your hike towards Riomaggiore from Porto Venere. If you happen to be staying in Biassa or La Spezia, do yourself a favor and hike here, eat the local meats and cheeses, and enjoy a beautiful view of the sea, city, and mountains while you feel like you're in heaven. Good food, even better staff - amazing and kind.
