La Dispensa is truly a hidden gem and one of the most memorable dining experiences we had in Tuscany. From the moment you arrive, you’re warmly welcomed by two gorgeous big dogs, which instantly sets such a cozy, homey tone. The setting itself is stunning there’s seating on the ground floor, inside, upstairs, and even an outdoor terrace that overlooks the lush Tuscan landscape. Sitting up high with that view was absolutely breathtaking and made the entire atmosphere feel magical.||We started with traditional Tuscan bread and a variety of olive oils, all made right there on the farm. Each one had its own unique flavor, and it was such a special way to begin the meal. For appetizers, we ordered the cheese and jam board, and it was outstanding. Everything was made from their local animals, so fresh and full of flavor. The cheeses were paired beautifully with honey, peach jam, and another jam, creating such a perfect balance of sweet and savory.||For my main course, I had the spaghetti with ricotta, and it was incredible. They took such a simple, classic dish and elevated it to something unforgettable. The vegetables and fragrant sauce were perfectly balanced, and the creamy ricotta placed in the center made every single bite perfect. We also had the salad with eggplant and other vegetables, which was so flavorful and fresh, and the potatoes were baked to perfection—crispy on the outside and soft inside.||Dessert was the perfect ending. The strawberry tart was light, creamy, and delicious, while the cheesecake was fluffy, rich, and absolutely divine. Both were excellent and definitely worth saving room for.||The service was on the slower side, but honestly, that’s part of the charm of dining in Italy. It gave us time to really enjoy the food, the atmosphere, and the beauty around us without rushing.||If you’re looking for an authentic Tuscan experience filled with fresh, local food and breathtaking scenery, La...
Read moreI was looking for a place that could accommodate 25 people for dinner, and I’m so thrilled I found La Dispensa Tuscan Farm Restaurant and B&B. If you have any doubts about this place, please don’t—everything was truly exceptional. We had a prefixed menu that included: • DU'PASSI – Selection of Du'Passi cheeses with jam or honey • Roast Potatoes • Sautéed Vegetables • Mugellana's Stuffed Tagliatella • Low-Temperature Cooked Pork Shoulder • Grilled Meats • For dessert: a deconstructed millefeuille. A special thank you to Elisa for helping me choose the menu. She was so responsive and came through in a pinch, even arranging for us to order catering from her a day before. She literally saved me with her meat lasagna. It was beyond incredible—we enjoyed it for both dinner and breakfast the next morning. We were staying in a villa about 20 minutes from the restaurant, and options for takeout were limited to pizza or sushi. It was a day when we arrived to Italy tired and hungry. Elisa’s takeout trays of meat lasagna and cannelloni alla Fiorentina (filled with ricotta and spinach or herbs) were a perfect Italian meal. The next day’s dinner at the restaurant was one of our best meals in Italy. We had so much food that we asked to pack the leftovers, which included two full trays of beautifully grilled meats, potatoes, and veggies. Also, I’d like to give a huge thanks to Nadia, one of the servers who took care of us that evening. She was incredibly hardworking and kind, making the experience even more memorable. Some of us even went back a couple of days later to enjoy more of the menu and see her again. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend a visit to La Dispensa. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by the quality and prices—just...
Read moreA true gem! We had an incredible experience at La Dispensa Agriturismo. The use of local ingredients, homemade yogurt, and cheese made every dish exceptional. It really made us decide that from now on, we only want to stay at agriturismos like this one. The dinner was outstanding! We started with sheep tartare and carpaccio, followed by lamb liver paired with lamb ham. For our mains, we enjoyed wood-fired roasted lamb and a delicious tagliatelle with ricotta, eggplant, and sun-dried tomatoes. Even if you're not staying here, you should absolutely make a reservation for dinner. It was easily one of the best meals we've...
