We stayed at Tenute Poggio di Bobi for a week. We had a fantastic time, in a truly Tuscan spirit - surrounded by vineyards, olive tree fields and misty Montalbano hills, with local food and wine. The owners are wonderful hosts. They made us feel very welcomed and assisted with everything we needed, and above :) The apartment was very clean and spacious. Very comfortable king size bed and big bathroom with walk-in shower. our apartment had a fully equipped kitchen also. The location is very convenient for day trips to Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Vinci and other places around. Lamporecchio town also offers various restaurants and cafes. However, before you go eating out, try home cooked dinner, prepared by Mrs Graziella (available on request) - truly Tuscan feast. The same with breakfasts, also on a request, - Graziella's freshly baked cornetti alla nutella are heavenly good. Make sure you go for wine tasting at the farm! For a very reasonable price you will have a chance not only to taste the wine produced on a site, but also try a typical selection of cold meats, cheese and bruscheta with olive oil they produce. The olive oil was so good, we brought some back home (as much as our luggage allowance let us to).||If you are looking for a Tuscan countryside stay this is the place. And please, please respect this gem - Tenute Poggio di Bobi is exceptional...

Read moreMy partner and I loved our time here on the farm. We had a beautiful, clean, spacious apartment to ourselves, with breathtaking views of the farm and Tuscan countryside. The owners just left us to our own devices which suited us just fine. We had breakfast served every day which consisted of ham, cheese, bread, coffee, juice and a sweet treat. The place has a restaurant on site where they hold events every other day so you get a chance to mingle with locals and eat delicious Tuscan cuisine.|We were surprised to find that practically no one on site spoke English!! We had to communicate through lots of hand gestures and google translate. This could be frustrating for non-Italian speakers but we loved it as it made the stay feel more authentic. The hosts were all very warm and friendly.|As we did not have a car we couldn't travel far, but we were not so fussed about seeing places. The stay might be even better if you have a car and can then do day trips to visit other towns and cities. |Overall I would recommend this place is you just want a quiet and peaceful getaway, rather than if you are looking for many...
