Triple wow for this beautiful tenuta, which offers gorgeous food and their own amazing wine (other than many others, of course). Me and my family came here in search of some food on our way back home from a long trip. As I reached the car park, I thought that this was one of those places for wedding ceremonies (especially considering the parked cars). I'm not sure what celebrations were carrying on in the restaurant (maybe none) but since there was no place available inside, we had been offered to eat outside some sharing starters. I'm sure the main dishes would have been great, but I can guarantee you that even these other sharing plates were absolutely amazing. So great food (mostly salume, cheese and some stuff with fish, plus all their cicchetti) and great wine! We tried their own wine and my father (who loves wine) ended up buying a full box! The service was super. Everyone was super kind and very proud of their wine. They all told us a lot about how it's made and where the grape is taken from. I'm sure we were very lucky to be there on a perfect sunny day. Maybe it was unusual in the middle of February, but it was absolutely lovely eating outside surrounded by all these olive trees. It was really a unique experience and I wish I'll be able to get there again sooner or later. Totally recommended, especially for...

Reason for visiting: Lucky hit through Google Maps on the way to Verona airport. Impressed by good reviews and beautiful images.

Would I visit again: Definitely, perfect food, very reasonable priced, an impressive wine list (lovely choice of Amarone), attentive service, beautiful setting under Olive trees in front of an impressive and nicelydecorated Tenuta (wine shop / restaurant ).

Was the food delicious: We fit the pike with roasted polenta, Tagliatelle with rabbit, gnocchi and fried starters. Each single dish was outstanding, delicious and very very well prepared. The kitchen definitely knows it's job.

Price-performance ratio: We were irritated in a postive way. The prices suggest that you'll get small or mediocre prepared meals, That's NOT the vase. The portion were generous, the preparation above any expectation. My guess, starter + main and a glass of wine will go for 40-45 EUR.

Service style: Very attentive and friendly. We were in a rush to the airport and the service team handled it effective but w/o any non necessary haste.

Atmosphere: Nice garden seating under Olive trees. Inside an elegant wine shop, surrounded by wineyards . Easy parking, enough space.

Comments: Saved it as "must go" for any trip to / from Verona airport....

First I have to say I am a huge Masi fan. So visiting this restaurant was quite a set back. On the 24th of August 2021 we were at this restaurant. The staff was not only unattentiv but also unfriendly when we arrived. It took a while until we were seated. Later, when we were ordering, I had not decided on a wine and asked for another minute for the wine and we ordered everything else. As no one was coming back. I tried to order a wine from a waiter with grey hair. He then said that he is not responsible. I should ask someone else. He did not even send the responsible. I thought "what an attitude to be in a service business". I then asked a young waiter who said he will look after it. The food came and the wine did not. I accidentially spilled my water glass over the table, my plate and myself. The waiter with the grey hair looked, laughed and went away. Not asking if I would need help or anything. Then I thought, I can't remember having such a bad experience in a restaurant since a long time. After asking if they could check for my wine, we received the wine when our plates were almost empty. There would be even more bad behaviour to tell about. However, they were very similar the points...

Had high hopes for lunch here but unfortunately the food was a let down. The fried starters were lacking in flavour and texture, the only one we enjoyed was the cod. Sage gnocchi was very bland, tortelli was overly sweet it felt like we were eating a dessert. The trout dish was the only decent main. However the creme brûlée dessert was quite nice. I’m not sure if the food is very traditional or the restaurant is trying to be too inventive with the flavour combinations, unfortunately it was quite a strange tasting meal and didn’t resemble some of the beautiful food of Italy. At least the service was lovely!
